in accordance to this standard...Caytania Lila Arcarya continued his lecture of Canto 3 Chapter 27 - Verse 21 we ended the Chapter in Verse 30.(transcendental Amnesty)

Mother Kavery was up and running this morning ready to initiate the Nectar of Sadhusanga. Currently, I am hosting this activity Thursdays and Fridays, and although is challenging is not impossible. We've had some power outages here where I live but life goes on.  this brings me to this observation about my religious society. Throughout the time that I have been involve with Vrinda Parivar's Universalidad sol, and I've had the chance to see the way that Gurudeva and my brothers and sisters deal with illness and someone's passing makes me feel less concern about leaving my physical body. No one in our religious society dwells on the memory of the people who die because death is a fact of life that most devotees look forward to.

Death is the opportunity to evaluate our behavior while we have been in this physical reality and a chance to see how far one has advanced  spirituality.  We leave this body and  Krsna either sends us back to this world to continue our karmic expiation or we move on to other planets. Regardless of the outcome the biggest blessing for a  Vaishnava is to continue serving Krsna in another reincarnation within Krsna consciousness if she or he is assigned to incarnate here again.

Caytania Lila Arcarya continued his lecture of Canto 3 Chapter 27 - Verse 21 we ended the Chapter in Verse 30.

Caytania Lila Arcarya gave a great analogy about the word "Amnesty" he expands on the significance of "Amnesty" by referring to it as "transcendental Amnesty".  He said that just like a government pardons a member of a militant group (guerilla)  and allows this person to integrate into a society and this individual is able to run for public office. We devotees/disciples in Krsna Consciousnes's Vrinda Parivar  achive Amnesty when we receive Lord Krsna's mercy and we begin to chant the Maha Mantra.

As you are aware, many Buddhist sects teach  ahimsa non-violence. There are some spiritual people who abstain from doing all sorts of activities like say for instance gardening. when we do gardening not only are we killing plants but we are also killing insects and if you are using pesticides or other chemicals you are definitely killing a lot of other things including contaminating the air in this way the practice of Ahimsa goes out the window very quickly. No matter how we look at this  reality we are killing something most of the time. I had some gruesome experiences while doing some gardening jobs. I was weeding with my hand held hoe shovel and I accidentally killed some worms, and I did this in four different occasions, I was chanting the Maha Mantra at the time or reminded myself to chant it right away. although a worm is a lower specie that worm is still a living entity. Acknowledging the importance of the worm that I was taught  to see as an insignificant creature, makes become aware that the worm experiences pain. being aware of this fact is important to me because it helps me pray for that living entity's afterlife and it also makes me question my future afterlife for taking it's life even though it was an accident.

I shared my concerned about the gardening jobs that I was doing with Gurudeva and the fact that I had killed some worms accidentally. Gurudeva assured me that this type of killing is merciful and that it is done regularly when farming.

I hope that Lord Krsna was merciful with the worms that I killed and that this living entities went home to Krsna, and if not that they were at least given an opportunity to be born human again around vaishnavans but my first wish for the worms that I killed is that they Go Home to Krsna.

Moreover, transcendental Amnesty is achieved when we chant the Maha Mantra  Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare because  it cleanses all karma  that is accumulated during this type of activities jobs and hobbies and it also helps the living entity that is killed transcend to a higher form of life . In this way, we can continue with our duties without worrying about karmic reaction. This type of way of seeing the reality in front of me allows me to see Krsna's mercy for me because I am sure that I have killed a lot of worms in my previous lives and I am here in this human body knowing that within 8,400.000 species of living entities that we can incarnate into as time goes on. I know that I was a worm  at some point and I was killed,  and I don't have to be a worm ever again.

there was another thing that happened that allowed me to see my indifference to the pain of lower species like the worms, there was a  bunch of ants lingering around the sink right over the place where I put my cutting board and my immediate reaction was to just get them out of the way so I could place my cutting board where the ants were hanging out . As you are aware small ants are very fragile so even when I attempted to get them out of the way gently, some of them died. I was chanting the maha mantra when this happened I really did not care or thought that this ants experienced pain but then I remembered that insects are the same as a chicken, and a chicken is the same as human being and this realization made me not want to put my cutting board where the ants were. And I just left them alone. the ants are still there as we speak and I really don't know what to do. the second thought that came into my mind was "well maybe one of my roommates will end up brushing them off!" this thought allows me to see that I am so use to perceiving  killing as a natural activity.. In order for me to deprogram myself from the programming of killing and being okay with killing I have to remember gurudeva's instructions that " We are not here to hurt anything!" and hence the reason why for me at this point in my life it is essential to chant the Maha Mantra because this planet is a planet of "death", and I chose Life even if this means that I no longer have to be in this physical body to experience Life.

Although, I have transcendental amnesty according to Caytania Lila Arcarya  I don't want to move too fast and forget that everywhere around me there are other living entities sharing my living space. I want them to know that I am aware that they are sharing the same space with me and that I care about them even if I happen to step on them or squash them accidentally I want to make sure that if I am meant to kill I  kill with kindness Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama hare Rama Rama Rama Hare HareHare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama hare Rama Rama Rama Hare HareHare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.  -at the lotus feet of Srila Bhaktialoka Paramadvaiti Maharaja who is an ocean of mercy to a fallen soul like Me.
