summary: Nithya Pada Prabhu explains that this chapter teaches us how the world became populated in order for the individual soul to live out his, hers, or it's karmic lessons. This events take place after the great flood in which Lord Vishnu's avatar was Matsya. Matsya appears in the physical world to save the pios and the first man. Manu( you may also know this story as the Arc of Noah).
During this era of Kali Yuga, both men and women, are looking for a partner with the intention to satisfy their senses deviating themselves from the original intent of marriage which is to satisfy and serve the supreme personality of god head, Krsna. When a woman is looking at her husband to satisfy her and to serve her, and when a man is looking at a woman to satisfy him and to serve him, the marriage will always result in failure. When the Grihastra and his maharani wife focus in serving the lord by continuing to practice devotional service, distributing prasadan and books, and maintaining their sacred altar, they will create a happy marriage.
Prabhu Nithyapada quotes Srila Prabhupada "Laksmi and Narajana form the ideal marriage!". ( the goddess of fortune and the supreme personality of godhead are always satisfied, happy, and they are inseparable) Nythia pada expands on this statement by referencing this era of Kali, he said, there are no ideal marriages during this time; this is why we have prostitution, unwanted progeny, abortion, homosexuality etc. etc.
Everything that happens in the lower planets ( Triloka) is a reflection of what happens in the higher transcendental planets
